Kenny and Partners provide a broad range of legal services to the community. These include Legal Aid work, providing legal services at the Gladstone Courthouse and Police Watchouse, at Family Law conferences and hearings. We also act for other law firms as a town agent being conveniently located next door to the Gladstone Courthouse.

In addition Kenny and Partners is a large enough firm to handle a wide range of legal issues that you would not find in your average regional law firm. These include advice on Insurance law, Maritime Law, Intellectual Property and Copyright issues, as well as Migration Law. We are well equipped to handle all your legal inquiries.

If you want security over your affairs and a trusted person to look after you if you are in any way unable to do so, you may wish to create an Enduring Power of Attorney to look after your health care or financial decisions. If you would like advice on whether you should create an Enduring Power of Attorney or require one prepared, please contact us. Should you be concerned with the running of your business affairs if you were to become ill or unable to handle them yourself for a period of time, we can also offer Company or Business Powers of Attorney.

Being a progressive regional law firm we recognise the importance of handling your legal affairs in the broadest way possible. We provide alternative dispute resolution services such as Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) where parties wish to settle their disagreements without the financial and emotional burden of having to go to Court. At Kenny & Partners, we have available Law Society registered mediators who have been qualified for more than a decade.

Notary Public
Kenny & Partners is pleased to be able to offer the services of a Notary Public, Mr. John Golinelli. Similar to the concept of a Justice of the Peace/Commissioner for Declarations being able to witness and certify documents within the State, the Notary Public is the only internationally recognised witness and certifier of documents.

A Notary Public also is the only internationally recognised officeholder able to certify:-

  1. All shipping documents;
  2. Letters of Protest;
  3. Any other maritime material required by seafarers;
  4. Certification of any overseas persons / tourists documents or passport material required.

Migration Agent
Kenny & Partners is also pleased to be able to offer migration services by its associated business of KP Migration Services. This separate business, run by registered Migration Agent, Mr John Golinelli, offers professional advice on all migration issues, including:-
